quantum entanglement is described at space.com as "a bizarre, counterintuitive phenomenon that explains how two subatomic particles can be intimately linked to each other even if separated by billions of light-years of space. despite their vast separation, a change induced in one will affect the other."

 

when i first heard about this concept i became instantly fascinated, and immediately began to wonder how much quantum entanglement contributes to human relationships. is quantum entanglement the reason we sometimes meet someone and feel like we are connected already, or know each other? does quantum entanglement describe why some people feel like soul mates? this piece is first of many i have in mind to explore this fascinating phenomenon.
